Bangkok Feb 2008 Day 2

Wake up very early in the morning, and walk to Siam train station which is about 30min walk. Heading to Sala Daeng station and walk for 15min to just to find JTB , really bad location. Can't imagine Wendy tour and HIS is just beside Siam station and Silom station.

Soon after booking the Club Mambo, I took a Taxi and head for Wat Phra Kaew which is another 30min and the far and was 150baht, quite expensive actually... Already quite tired to bargain!! Weather too hot, cannot tahan liao.
This is the exit of Wat Phra Kaew.

I walked to the entrance and saw a group of ang moks jammed the entrance, and I also have no idea where to purchase the tickets. Then the entrance staff show me another entrance written FREE for THAI and ask me to go in by that entrance!!! Thinking for not more than 5 seconds and went in. haha***haha

At this point I'm
quite happy that always kana
mistaken as
Thai!

The elegence wall of Wat Phra Kaew.
Right outside Wat Phra Kaew

When I was walking with map, Thai guy A asked, where am I heading to..I told him that I am going to Wat Pho, But he told me that the temple is close for lunch.(Liar?)He recommend me some other places like the Lucky Buddlha and Marble Buddlha and1 more THE GEM SPECIALIST SHOP... he mentioned that only operate 7days a yr and today is the last day (Liar 2?) Then he told me to take TUK-TUK to tour around as each destination was too far. And he told me to ask for local rate at 40Baht for the whole session which was too cheap, and the driver said OK. They talk in Thai and I had no idea??? I was overjoy by the 40baht. Cos I thought it will cost about 300baht.

Arriving at Lucky Buddlha, an Thai Uncle B asked me to sit at infront of the small 神様 before go to the lucky buddlha. Then he told me about theb GEM shop again(2nd liar??) Then make me more and more interested in the GEMs.

The lucky buddlha

An elementary school right beside and its real にぎやか>

Next destination, went to 2 Gems shop, I bought 2 rings and used 340sgd lor, I think the driver manage to get some commissions too. thats why in the end he din't charge me 40baht too.I saw 2 retro car right outside the gem shop. Not too bad!

Next Wat... Its the Marble Buddlha, where the 宮 was filmed too.
Prince Shin was there before.

Grandfather clock remind me of Hirai Ken!?
Very High class right???

This fucker is not ashame of pissing infront of me lor.
Others did shout and ask him not to do this but he don't care, so I also don't care!!
Took the picture and blog it...

The tuk-tuk driver, his Japanese is more fluent than English.

Heading back to Wat Pho...Quite crowded

I consider this a great photo, too crowded and there is no way I can take a nice pic.

spending too much in shopping right?? should throw more in here.

Saying Bye-bye to the driver, I took a boat from Wat Pho to Wat Arun, cost about 3.5baht.

I am totally tired and din climb up at all. Just a pic of the Wat Arun.
Graded for Best during sunset timing.

Again took a ferry to the main ferry terminal and walk about 15min to Harmonique Restaurant.
Angelia brought me there before.

Homely concept that welcome many tourists too.

My lunch and Dinner cost about 20sgd.. Quite Ex but worth it.

Walking slowly to the Taksin Station, I walk pass State tower and went up eventhough not in my plan.

I like this pic.. Very romantic right??

After that, head for Sum Luan night market which is about 12min walk from silom station..

Did a light shopping and went back to hotel at about 10pm.
