Aomori Apr 2007

Back to Akita and we took a Scenic Train JR Shirakami Line, which is about 4 hrs travelling to Aomori along the Japan Sea Coast. There is only 3 trains a day so we have be on time.


Big windows and there is a small part when the train goes under tunnel, The luminous was switch on. It was along distance but I had never close my eyes.. The sea, The nature~ touches my heart!







Taking this train, we can see Shirakami Mountains and Apple Farms too.


My dream house.. Be a fisherman's wife also not bad right?
Nice sunset before we arrive at Hirosaki!




Hirosaki Castle is one of the famous spot for night sakura viewing. When we arrived there, Sakura was only about 50% open, but the whole park is super crowded... Almost wanna act gong gong and join one of the group to have free Sake and Sushi~



The next day, we went to Aomori station to take JR Bus Oirase to Tawada Lake which is about 2.5hrs away, prebooking is always recommended.


We have some brief stops for toilet break and the scenery was fantastic..
Super ulu that easy to take nice photos. Pass by Hakkoda Ski Area too.




I feel Oirase stream is not as nice as what I had expected.. The local people over there told me that best season will be June and Oct when it is new leaves and autumn leaves, instead of now... over dry up! Towada Lake is nice... Great view..
Will definitely go back again.
