The nearest gateway to Takayama will be from Nagoya station whichi is about 2.75 hrs away by JR Hida Ltd Exp.

A small town and there is one world heritage Shirakawago which I have to take 1.5hrs bus to the inner part.. But I miss the bus because fully booked.
Then the tourist counter introduce me to this place Hida No Sato, which is about 10min by bus and they have the same image of what Shirakawago is. The whole feeling is just like my dream kampong.. This is the type of place I wanna stay when I get old!
The exterior is so nice.. all straws~ haha! really olden days... Wanna try it too. Quite enough of concrete life liao..
Their beliefs? Lucky charm to wish for good luck and prosperous~
