Taipei Yang Ming Shan Dec 2007

Yang Ming Shan , take a train to Jian Tan station and take bus Red 5 for about 30min and will reach the station.

To reach the tourist information counter.. I have to walk at least 600m from the drop off point. Quite eerie... I 1 person only.. ARR~!

Preparing to set off by myself.. but the weather is...

So I took a bus to go a round the park.. but 70% look like that..Arr~
Then I realize that the driver is very skillful ..
More like took a roller coaster~




Finally stop at a clear place and took some photo.. This trip is a total mistake.. I should had come here early morning.. be cos the driver told me that the weather was great in a few hours ago..

Taipei 101 Dec 2007

Taipei 101 building has alot of branded shops. Take train till Shi Zheng Fu station and walk for about 20min. Along there is Mitsukoshi too then New york New york shopping mall.. Then of cos did alot of window shopping.


The security is very strict that they don't allow big bags so have to leave the things in the counter or lockers.. quite troublesome for me as too many things like camera,passport & money. Haiz.. So they gave me a carrier...


Up on top exchange a headphone with my passport and listen to the history and future that Taipei will be... explain every part you facing 360 degrees.




The whole season that I went was their raining season so sunset is not as good as I expected..

At night... the city is quite nice and I went to a salsa club near Taipei 101...

Forgot to said... There is free shuttle service between 101 and the station.

Taipei History Day Dec 2007

A super busy day... All the attractions are along the Danshui Red Line so quite easy to hop around.

Firstly, arrived at Yuan Shan Station and walk for about 15min to reach Kong Zi Temple to pray for a good study future... anyway never ever seriously study before ~

Gu Gong,15min bus from Shi lin Station, is the museum where there is alot of antique from China.. I spent 2hrs seeing all the display and almost become walking zombie.. Not an art person so don't really appreciate it.

Kong Zi statue outside.. And also, on this day, it was Christmas Day and the Bus driver was on Santa Claus uniform too..

Discount special for foreigner with this pass.. Must register at the tourist information counter.

Ma Zhu, 15min walk form Guan Du station.... A very holy place with very nice atmosphere.. Surprisingly, I love this place.

Guan Ying's Statue... Very nice~

And lastly, Shi Lin Night Market which the nearest station in Jian Tan Station~Very oishii but too oily...

Taipei Hostel Taiwanmex Dec 2007

I stay in Taiwanmex during my whole trip in Taipei.. A very clean environment, friendly management and people who stay there are also very nice.. On the very 1st day, the shower booth was quite a bother to me.. But after awhile I start to get used to it.


Glory from California and Nick from Texas.. Nice guys and had dinner together too.. Spending lot of time in the hostel talking craps..
Nick is the guy who taught us how to play UFO catcher and we did do well.. Nice Sensei DAYO!
Miss them so much! Hope they will visit me one day..


This australian guy is the most crappy among all.. He have a drug trafficking face.. So always have problem clearing the custom.. And he have alot of lobangs to get false University Certificate and etc.. After listening to all stories, there is really so much unexpected things happen in this world.. Kinda Fun Guy!


Lastly Mimi, her job is to look after us and she is really nice.. But on the last day, she keeps following me to anywhere and even the toilet..
